Happy 7months old Baby Precious!
Its been awhile since i lasted blog, because this august aint a memorable month to recall...
last sunday early in the morning, i decided to bring Lucas to kkh because of his diaper rash again.. but since friday night he did feel abit warmer than usual but i did not think of it as fever.. the least to expect was that, when we reach the A&E, baby's fever had already hitted 38.3 degrees & he started to have full blown diahrrea...
was advice to get lucas admitted as he was not eating well either, wanting to meet the dietician and advice on what we can do for a fussy food eater like Lucas...
but the stay there was HORRIBLE...
not too long after we admitted, Lucas became so hyper, so much so that i doubt anyone would believe he was developing a fever... and later in the night doctor advice i let him go on drip for his developing symptons of dehydration already..
the process of the drip was really heart-breaking...
1st round the doctor took 20mins and still failed to adminstrate the needle into him, and while lucas was screaming and crying till his voice break.. i only could stand outside and do nothing... when Lucas saw me, he jus hop over to me... he was badly frightened...
but still i noe he needs to go on drip cause his not eating nor drinking, including his favourite glucose..
got a 2nd doctor to adminstrate but there time round i stayed by Lucas, cos once i let him down on the bed, he cried before they did anything...
it was really heart aching for me to see Lucas staring at me "mummy help me pls!" but i could not do anything..
Lucas was discharge on the 4th day..
ive made major amendments to his diet, and am glad his adapting well..
this stay have made baby lost weight, borderline between moderate & underweight..
Lastly, lucas updates on his 7months old...
taking cereals with FM 3-4x a day (spoon feed)
lunch & dinner spinach porridge with FM (spoon feed)
drinks glucose & water
rolling everywhere on the bed
Lucas got "learning to crawl style", will lift his butt up n move forward with his hands
can listen to simple instructions, like "lucas where's ur pillow, go lie there" slowly he'll move n flip over & lie down
sticky to mummy
if mummy ignores him becos im doing my stuff, he'll pout & pretend to cry as he felt mummy don love him
if i playing computer he'll sit inside walker & stare at me
hates ppl touching his neck,face,head
splash water all over us when his bathing
can sit & support himself on the sofa/stroller/ hee ntuc trolley
sayang mummy by touching on my face...
